To get the Frankapalooza party started I’m sharing photos of the band that took the stage as I arrived. These guys did a great Teenage Head tribute show!
Since I have so many photos from the night to go through I’m spreading them out into separate posts. The new posts will appear here every day or so (as long as I know people are actually coming to look) until the collection is completed. If I do continue posting photos from the party you’ll be able to find them all filed under the Frankapalooza tag.
I attended the event as a guest and spent my time enjoying the evening rather than “working” too hard, in fact I didn’t formally interview anyone or take any notes. Just lots of photos! As a result I need some help gathering better info (such as the band names, player names and other important details) to go with the photos. If you can help me with any info I’d most appreciate the input!
Since moving up to the Barkway-Lewisham area of Muskoka a few years ago I’ve heard stories of the annual music festival known as “Frankapalooza”. This was the first year that I was available to witness it first hand. The bands were great!
As I continue the Frankapalooza posts I’ll try to include more info as I can gather it or as it comes in. With each photo you’ll notice a four-digit number in the watermark. That is to help me identify the file in the event that anyone, such as one of the bands, would like a larger or better copy of the image.
Here we go with the first batch of photos, the Teenage Head tribute band opening their set with Disgusteen! Yes Franky, a Nice Day For a Party it was!
