The Ryde Community Centre was chosen as one of the lucky recipients of a special “150th Celebration Garden” presented by the Canadian Garden Council and Vesey’s Bulbs. Last fall volunteers from the Ryde center planted the 150 tulip bulbs in a new garden space in front of the Ryde centre. The red and white tulip flowers, eager to get the Canada Day celebrations started, started bursting into bloom in mid May and put on a great display for weeks.
