Today I launched a new and much better way to subscribe to the website. From here on new subscribers can select topic categories to subscribe to and then receive email notifications only for new posts matching their interests. This may be specially helpful to subscribers who only want to follow one or two topics and not receive updates on everything else that gets posted.
I hope the new method will be encouraging for people considering subscribing to the site. Now you can subscribe and not worry about receiving notifications or updates which aren’t relevant to you.
In the past subscribers received an email update every time a new post was made on the site. While it worked I felt this wasn’t ideal. From now on subscribers will receive fewer updates (perhaps once a month and not more than once a week), and those updates will be more focused on the subscriber’s chosen categories of interest.
The old subscription system is now closed down so if you were subscribed to the site please take a moment to renew at the Subscribe page. I hope to see some new subscribers show up there too!
